FIRST Robotics Competition

FIRST Robotics Competition is the competition that most high school robotics teams compete in. It was inaugurated in 1992 with only a few teams on the east coast of the United States and has grown dramatically since then. Since Paly Robotics is FRC Team #8, we can pretty much be considered the oldest existing robotics team on the west coast.
